Oxford Flow supercharges global growth with CCO appointment and 52% increase in global headcount
Oxford Flow, the flow control equipment specialist, doubles down on expansion with the appointment of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Fernando Arce-Larreta. This comes as the business announces a 52% increase in headcount globally since January 2025.
Based in Houston, Arce-Larreta brings more than two decades of global experience across the chemical, energy and infrastructure sectors. With a proven track record of commercial excellence and operational leadership at industry giants such as General Electric (GE), Baker Hughes, Aggreko and most recently as Commercial Vice President at Flowchem, Arce-Larreta has consistently driven revenue growth, led high-performing teams and executed transformative go-to-market strategies across international markets.
The expansion follows significant investment from bp Ventures and Energy Impact Partners (EIP) in late 2024, which has accelerated Oxford Flow’s global growth trajectory. A global recruitment drive has seen the company increase its headcount by 52% across commercial, engineering and production roles. This surge reflects the company’s focus on expanding its presence in key strategic markets, including the United States, where headcount has risen by 166%, as well as the Middle East and Europe.
Speaking about the recent appointments, Neil Poxon, CEO at Oxford Flow, said: “This underscores Oxford Flow’s commitment to delivering customer value and innovation in core global regions. Recent investment has supercharged our efforts to scale rapidly and invest in world-class talent. With a strengthened commercial leadership team and a growing global footprint, we’re well positioned to accelerate our mission of transforming flow control performance across the energy and industrial sectors.”
Fernando Arce-Larreta, added: “This next chapter at Oxford Flow presents a unique opportunity to scale cutting-edge valve technologies on a global stage. The team has already done incredible work pioneering innovative flow control solutions that are making a real impact across the industry. I’m looking forward to building on that success and driving further growth in key markets around the world.”
To support its global momentum, Oxford Flow has also strengthened its regional leadership with a further two key appointments: Salvatore Caruso as Regional Sales Director, UK/CE, and Ahmed Kamesh as Regional Sales Director, MENA. Caruso, based in Rome, brings over 18 years’ experience and a strong track record in European market development, having previously led Southern Europe expansion for Aspen Pumps Group. Kamesh, with nearly two decades of expertise in flow control and valve technologies, will lead Oxford Flow’s commercial growth across the MENA region from the UAE.
