WEG GROUP TÜRKİYE PREPARES TO LAUNCH THE W20 ELECTRIC MOTOR SERIES, MANUFACTURED IN TÜRKİYE, AT THE WIN EURASIA FAIR ~ From local expertise to global excellence ~

Global electric motor manufacturer WEG will showcase its latest products and expanding presence in Turkey at WIN EURASIA 2025, taking place from May 28 to 31 at the Istanbul Expo Centre. Reinforcing its commitment to high-quality, locally manufactured solutions, WEG will present its advancements in automation, drives and gearboxes. Among these, attendees will be able to explore the W20 motor series and Volt Motors range.

On the first day of WIN EURASIA, WEG will unveil their new range of products for industry leaders and press to discuss the future of industrial automation in the region. The event will highlight the role of made-in-Turkey electric motors and demonstrate how the Volt Motors range, designed for the domestic market, complements the internationally recognised WEG Motors.

Since WEG acquired Volt, the company has implemented comprehensive improvements at the production facilities, leveraging WEG's knowledge base built since 1961. They have embraced a culture of continuous improvement with the Volt Routine Management System and the Volt Kaizen system. Investments to update production tooling and equipment has been a key improvement to enhance quality, safety and productivity, which are the drivers of the organisation

One of the key highlights at the WEG booth will be the W20 motor series, a high-efficiency IE3-rated three-phase motor with a power range from 0.75 kW to 315 kW. It features an aluminium frame for sizes 63 to 200 and a cast-iron frame from 160 to 355, offering multi-mounting capabilities for increased flexibility across various applications.

“Following the acquisition of Volt Motors last year, WEG has significantly expanded its footprint in Türkiye, assuming control of the existing Volt factory,” explained Marcio Yoshikazu Ematsu, European Marketing Manager. “This expansion further aligns Volt’s domestic expertise with WEG’s global standards of quality. We are excited to share insights into the development of Volt’s facilities, showcasing how WEG’s commitment to innovation is being integrated into local production.”
